Last updated 23 days ago

DUSD, issued by Delta Money, bridges TradFi institutions with on-chain finance. Engineered for stability, it is fully backed by a diversified mix of cash-equivalents, yield-bearing stablecoins, and a dynamic portfolio of long-short positions on major crypto assets like ETH, BTC, BNB, and SOL.

The Digital Dollar Revolutionizing Banking and Finance

Delta Labs (DePower AG) introduced DUSD to make USD accessible worldwide — for individuals, businesses, and institutions, with or without a bank account. From day one, Delta built this product around four core pillars:

  • Instant Global Dollar Access

  • Savings & Rewards

  • Institutional-Grade Access

  • Seamless International Payments

All of this is made possible by Delta's advanced technology, trusted banking and CeFi partners, and strong ties to the TradFi ecosystem.

Prior to DUSD, digital dollar users struggled with limited onboarding, low rewards, and high de-pegging risks, while institutions faced regulatory hurdles in accessing yield-bearing instruments. DUSD transforms this landscape, allowing both everyday fiat and crypto users to seamlessly access DUSD, make real-world payments, and utilize a flexible, jurisdiction-based infrastructure that empowers global institutions to transact and earn yield.

DUSD is the world’s first digital dollar to combine multiple strategies, including basis trades, T-Bill token backing, and conservative exposure to emerging market yields, into one simple, secure, and rewarding solution for global users. It is a censorship-resistant token, always transferable and seamlessly composable across both CeFi and DeFi platforms.

Collateral Structure & Flow

DUSD is a non-yield-bearing asset designed to function as an open and reliable digital dollar, issued by Delta Money. Its stability and security are supported by a diversified reserve strategy, including 100% backing through:

  • Cash equivalents

  • Yield-bearing stablecoins

  • Delta-hedged crypto positions

  • Yield-generating exposures to liquid staked derivatives of leading assets such as BTC, ETH, BNB, and SOL

DUSD is minted through deposits of fiat and cryptocurrency, and is designed to maintain 100% backing with highly liquid assets. Currently accepted minting assets include:

Upon receiving a user’s collateral, Delta Money automatically executes a series of conservative, risk-managed strategies to allocate the reserves across various backing assets. When volatile assets are deposited, Delta mitigates price risk by opening corresponding short perpetual positions on centralized exchanges. These positions are managed via "Off-Exchange Settlement" solutions in collaboration with top-tier custodians, ensuring both security and capital efficiency.
